| Below are the seven panels that make up John Leben's entry in the Grand Rapids ArtPrize competition running from September 22 through October 8. Leben's entry, a nostalgic take on one of the prominent features of the West Michigan landscape, includes seven 24x60-inch limited edition prints of digital paintings of beach stairs leading down the dunes to Lake Michigan beaches. These images have been under development by the artist for three years, and include completely repainted versions of some of Leben's favorite stairway paintings.
