Leben's Digital Painting
Wins Award

"Fukushima: The Bald-Headed Suiters and the Angry Slab," a 7x20-foot digital painting is on display at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids for the 2011 ArtPrize competition.

Leben's painting was inspired by technology that gets out of control, such as the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan or British Petroleum's Gulf oil spill earlier in 2011.
